Without a reasonable explanation, this looks about as bent as it’s possible to get. Justice to order, doomed to be overturned in Strasbourg at a later date.

No one should be allowed to own more than one news outlet. No one who isn’t a British citizen and taxpayer should be allowed to own any news outlets here at all.

Worst family in Britain.
Rachel Johnson defending her brother on @lbc.co.uk currently just blamed the "statest establishment" for the failures.

"He's getting all the blame and none of the credit" and "he did his best."

Really Rachel? Well his best was appalling. This wasn't a gold club tombola. It was a pandemic.

There is no serious conversation about how to lift the UK out of stagnation that doesn’t acknowledge the need to reverse Brexit as our top priority. Everything short of that is just wasting time and energy.
Brexit has caused almost twice as much damage to the UK economy than estimated by official forecasts, according to new paper from a group of experts including a senior Bank of England economist

Doing their best not to murder and dismember any more journalists. Can’t really say fairer than that. Fingers crossed they achieve there goal.
MBS claims the murder of Khashoggi was "a huge mistake and we're our doing our best that this doesn't happen again."

I see some folk dismissing Shankland’s goal as a tap in, but as one of my brothers messaged me during the game, “Adams would have missed that”.

Time for the BBC to come out fighting by commissioning a documentary on Trump’s friendship with Epstein.

Starmer’s leadership is visibly failing, but there’s no point in replacing him with anyone but Andy Burnham. Wes Streeting is a bit slicker than Starmer, but just as empty. I can’t see anyone else in there with the personality and fight to make a go of it.
November 12, 2025 at 9:39 AM
This is an opportunity for the government to clear out all the other Tories and restore the BBC as a public service broadcaster, not the TV version of the Daily Mail. I’m pretty sure spineless Starmer will fluff it, though.

Why is no one talking about a windfall tax on the excess profits of banks and energy companies as part of the budget debate?

Putin won’t denuclearise, so any responsible defence policy has to take account of that reality and the need to deter nuclear use by Putin, on which Zack Polanski has nothing to say.
Zack Polanski: "I want to see everyone denuclearise, including Vladimir Putin."
