Season 9 is fine, but that's it. There's no reason to watch s10-s12. The show runner destroyed the series from s10e1 forward.

It was literally stolen from how people viewed the 60’s Green Bay Packers. Dallas just decided they’d adopt it even though no one felt that way about them.

I drive uber part time and this a nearly universal truth. Starts at 27 and up single women that are at first frustrated then increasingly angry at the lack of mature, communicative male peers. The women that have found men _know_ how lucky they are.

I’m older now and believe rape as a plot device is just not legit. There’s a John Sandford Prey serial killer book that might be considered rape voyeurism. I was livid at how much detail he included.

It’s a conundrum but I would still recommend TC. I would just warn everyone about that scene. 2/2

Donaldson used rape as a plot device in his science fiction series too and it was 50x worse than Thomas Covenant. I read these books when I was younger and rationalized it.

I do think the first two Covenant trilogies are extraordinary fantasy and the existence of The Giants are important. But… 1/2
