Embedded engineering, computational chemistry, molecular biology. Etc.
Of those, Engine programming is a good fit; I do a bit of embedded, and non-game 3D graphics

I appreciate the wisdom!

Nice! Maybe it will have Chrono support and easier overrides.

I'm thinking about doing the same. I use Bincode for saving and loading settings, application state etc for some Rust PC programs. Have been seeing red flags from Bincode for a while. Will probably make the switch.

Ok. I have done a lot of different types of programming, but game dev scares me from what I've heard. Should I screw around in the Unreal Editor for fam?

Going further back, assuming you haven't played them: The Witcher 3, The Witness, Prey.

Blue Prince of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. This are outstanding games from 2025. Of course, the choices expand when you go back further!

Thanks; bought a copy. This aligns with one of my software projects.

I definitely do this! `Git commit -am "sync"`

Or: `Git commit -am troubleshooting X` where X is a git-based deployment system for websites

I am so stuck, and loving every minute of it.

To clarify the context of my prev comment: I am not familiar with the Doxxing or Git History rewrites; my perspective is as a heavy bincode user who noticed some warning signs over the past few months. I have been mentally prepared for this, but don't intend to immediately switch dependencies.

I use Bincode on a few large projects. Will keep using for now, but have been on the lookout for a replacement for a while now. There were several [to me] red flags regarding discussions over Chrono and Heapless imlementations, and their SourceHut readme. @jamesmunns.com Sounds like PostCard time

None yet - I'm going to start reaching out for feedback in a month or so after getting the molecule editor and docking in a good state; would love to get more eyes on it to identify the shortfalls.

Have 2 related. 1: Who in the US House/Senate do you admire most? 2: Who (in the House/Senate) do you think would align closely with you minus a few differences?

I have to try this! I tried doing this and readying in the microwave, but couldn't get it to work well; the liquid would start boiling off while a blob of solid agar would persist in the middle. Didn't think to try the autoclave.

That's an exquisite count! I open a book every day or every other day, and will hit about ~6.

Blue Prince slaps! One of my personal favorites of all time. Blue Prince and KCD2 are both GOTY! They are too different to be mutually-exclusive.

Worst part of Windows. Sometimes it steals your Desktop/Documents etc folders without permission, and is a mess to undo.

Nailed it!

That looks fantastic, and is why I didn't expose Python bindings for this module. I think mimicking its API may be a good move for simplicity.
