We won’t see Gana again before Afcon
So we now have 3 fit CM who all start.

And here comes opinion - for me Gana is really important to us. He does the dirty work that others don’t. He is always there to receive a pass regardless how many around him. He is one of those players you realize how good they are when they not there.

Biggest issue is RB. Myko is another that gets criticism but defensively he is sound. If we got a RB that was strongest going forward then Myko would be a decent foil - as per Ancelotti where one FB attacks and one sits.

Disagree re Jake starting ahead of them. We have not seen enough of him to justify that. It is definitely the future but not sure he is the answer yet.
We miss JB. He brings something different but Keane is our 3rd / 4th choice CB - which many didn’t want - and has proved more than capable

What if you compare him to Tarky? Because Keane has been far better this season.
Confidence is a huge thing in football - just look at the RS now.
Yes Keane lacks pace - as does Tarky -but a confident Michael Keane, defending deep is a very decent centre half. And he’s a threat at the other end too.
