This Kryuchkov legacy operation is designed to reshape the world, and that isn't going to happen without hooks into many countries. But all evidence so far suggests Epstein was about influence first and any 'kompromat' was incidental.

As for the involvement of 'Israel', obviously Ehud Barak is involved as are other individuals. The best lens here is to think in terms of Russia's long term interest in Israel and the Middle East. But the idea that Epstein was an "Israeli operative" is not supported by evidence.

The investigation by Senator Wyden of 4,725 wire transfers totaling >$1.1bn is our best hope of nailing this down. But we should expect that the bulk of this has nothing to do with sex and everything to do with influence and KGB subversion.

The reason these 'files' will never be disclosed is that no one can deal with the reality of what's actually happened. The sexual stuff is a sideshow compared to this broader story arc, and rooted mostly in Epstein's own deviancy. But it's very noisy and creates leverage.
