Our airport used to regularly win awards for the best passenger experience of any airport, even against major global hubs.
The last affordable snack place at PDX airport is gone and will be replaced by a “more expensive” cafe, according to staff.

Well, Signal desktop no longer works on my computer. Sooner or later, SOMETHING had to decide my computer was too old, and I guess Signal got there first.
It’s 13 years old and now I either need to (sigh) install Windows or figure out some other operating system, since Apple doesn’t update anymore.

I don’t have allergies or sensitive skin or ethical problems with pointless dyes and perfumes. I just think they are dumb and I don’t want to buy them.
It is nice to see that the Fred Meyer nearest my house now has more than 50% of the laundry aisle full of normal no-scent/dye potions and powders.

The “vote blue no matter who” people seriously can’t wrap their head around this: yes we all know the republicans are worse, but human nature will not allow people to continue supporting the dems after a certain amount of abandonment and disappointment.

I’m a half-century old and honestly can’t remember a single time in my life they were worth a fuck.

Really, the dems need to stop saving the GOP.
Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

I got something like poison oak on my arms and legs and y’all - I’m not doing great. I keep waking up due to itching, I showered five times yesterday because the running water provided some relief and I have used lots of topical treatments & gotten a prednisone prescription.
