If you want an app - get the FEMA app. It IS real FEMA. And it absolutely delivers @nws.noaa.gov alerts as they are published. You can select your area to be alerted (up to 5), and works for all alerts.
I put it on my college kids and wifey’s phone. It works. And is powered by NWS.
