I've been a cyclist for 20+ years. Crashes happen for numerous reasons: a slick corner, an animal running out in front of you, another cyclist going down in front of you, etc. I'd rather be wearing a helmet than not.

This is great! I love the concept. Just one small suggestion: please wear helmets, everyone.

DeepSeek made some significant software improvements, but I’m skeptical they trained this model on less than $6m. Regardless, these improvements will drive down costs. That’s never a bad thing — unless you’re a Nvidia investor.

I wonder if they made that public announcement once R1 was released because they wanted to get in front of the eventual panic. OpenAI knew it would soon be a problem. And Project Stargate was in works before Trump won. Interesting timing. #DeepSeek #Tech

As a Bears fan, I find this reaction hilarious. I’d be thrilled to see the Bears make the playoffs every year and then lose their first game.

I read it more as the tech leaders worried about antitrust, sucking up to the new sheriff in town. Your take also makes sense.

Thank you for the recommendation! I will definitely look into it. I'm sure you have some fascinating stories from that career.
