Solidarity with @ucu.org.uk members at Sheffield Hallam on strike this week over proposed redudancies.

The leadership of Sheffield Hallam University must stop and listen to their staff. It is the lectrurers and support staff that keep a University running, not those on 6 figures salaries.

Incredible show of solidarity and unity yesterday, and a truly diverse response, in Newcastle. Vastly outnumbering the far right, and showing Advance UK and UKIP what the North East is really about. A city of sanctuary in name and action.

Management must wake up to the demands of their staff. Extending the school day, and increasing workload will drive the recruitment and retention crisis, and damage education.

I am so incredibly proud to have been part of the @stonewalluk.bsky.social Leadership Program, and really sad that it has now come to an end.

It has been so inspiring to spend time with LGBT+ Leaders, and I am really grateful to have been invited.

It was an honour to be invited to speak at With Banners Held High.

This inspiring event marks 40 years since the end of the miners' strike.

A chance to remember the history of our movement, and build ourselves up for the work that we must do to build a better world.

Happy International Workers Day, a day to celebrate the victories of working people.

BUT today is also the day of a pivotal local and mayorsl elections, and reform want your vote.

Big news for me today. Really proud to be appointed Regional Secretary for the TUC in Yorkshire, Humber and the North East.

After 8 years, I will be leaving the NEU. I am so proud of my time with there, and I have no doubt they will go from strength to strength.
