This. The animation isn't even ugly for KPDH and had some nice genuinely funny moments (like the popcorn upon seeing the one guys abs), the expressiveness.
They also tried taking the piss out of the whole KPop business, which I appreciate but it also feels like another thing checked off the list.

It's a general problem that people latch onto stuff that is quick and scratches a temporary itch instead of giving genuinely great, creative people like Guillermo del Toro more love.

The cat and crow are quite adorable (I like the crow more). And yeah, the music is quite catchy but typical chart music. The concept was so neat but they let the ball drop so hard. The funniest thing is I **thought*** it's a TV show until I realised until the last third that it's a movie 💀

Exactly my feelings. Imo it should've been a TV show. Rumi had so much potential. Like who is her father??? And the fact they set up the guy (sorry I forgot his name) as her potential love interest just to let him be sacrificed???
