I remember reading about Budianskian and Furnanist story telling but I completely forgot the difference… but I went and got a refresher and now I totally agree. Rescue Bob is Budianskian.

I want to give a special shoutout to Bernadette Morin who, in 1979, produced a French dub of 1966’s classic magical girl anime Mahoutsukai Sally for the Quebec market. A monument and a rarity at the time, possibly the first dub of a magical girl show. youtu.be/6HNZ_KDRov8

The gang at ADV did a great job on Shinkon Gattai Godannar, matching the hot blooded energy of the Japanese version. I learned they recorded it like they do in Japan, all together in a big room instead of one by one! And they clearly had fun shouting their heads off. youtu.be/_BA1V5yMgIk
