Here's Scarlet the Red Fox who paid a visit last night. She's been in the wars with mange that she's had treated and responded well but now she a has a large bald patch on her side. Does anyone know what's caused it and if it can be treated, please? #Fox #RedFox #Scarlet

We’ve had insane views of Western Swamphen on @naturetrek.bsky.social Go Slow in Mallorca tour. Caspian and Whiskered Terns plus a good number of migrant waders were great to see, and Little Bitterns have been ever popular.

And here's Scarlet, her scar has healed and her tail is looking fine after the mange treatment. She's still very timid and only visits at night but she's getting fitter and her limp has almost gone.

I arrived to volunteer ‪@wildlifebcn.org‬ Pitsford Res. today to be greeted with a request to photograph the 1st record of Jersey Tiger for the site. I obliged, of course, before filling sandbags & getting covered in cement dust 😀

A great day at @wildlifebcn.org Pitsford reserve yesterday where we practised macro photography on diverse subjects including Wasp Beetle and Mischa's moths in various settings. Everyone went away with new skills, a better understanding of techniques and a selection of photos to be proud of.
