Six years ago today I went into the hospital for my esophagectomy. Three months later I was released from Marionjoy Rehabilitation Hospital. I am grateful to still be alive on this beautiful day. I remember all those survivors whose battles ended too soon. Cancer will be defeated one day.

This is my son’s iPad with Touchchat. He is nonverbal and uses this program to communicate. It is provided to him by his school district, purchased through an IDEA grant from the Department of Education. Musk wants to take my son’s voice away. I’m not going to let him get away with it.
