I'm honoured to have been published by Analog in their previous incarnation when they were owned by Dell Magazines. But I won't be submitting to any of these magazines while they're owned by MRM, without substantial and *standardised* revisions to their boilerplate. There's no excuse for this.

This is a timely and fascinating novella that is richly populated with fascinating characters surviving in an all-too-real future. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

KL Schroeder paints a gentle, otherworldly apocalypse, both ecological and personal, which by turns delights with its stunning prose and devastates with its incisive detail.

Solidarity to both your postal workers and your patience. It'll be worth the wait!
