Hard to disagree overall. My issue was folk putting all the blame on the players for our current malaise and calling them all shite. They’re not. But if we keep on this downhill trend how do we attract the upgrades we need to challenge the top? Guess comes down to £’s but manager must count too.

Which then begs the question why? Just coincidence, how they are being led or time to adjust to a new system? My fear is it’s how they are being led but hoping it’s just down to adjustment.

💯 agree with all of this 👍I find the whole ‘the players aren’t good enough’ argument very baffling.

Unfortunately not a new phenomenon. Someone I knew, who watches Yeovil every week, went to WHL and could not believe how quickly some of the crowd got on players back and were booing them. He just found it unreal.

I feel we have no identity or clarity on the pitch and this constant changing of formation and style is not working. Surely some structure should be in place by now? Sorry, but I’m just not sure he’s cut out for it. Would love to be wrong.

And I see a lot of comments saying the players are 💩. There’s an element of that but it’s more about how they are being set up to play and the messages they are getting. Most of the players if you look at them individually are not bad. Just when they get out on the pitch as a team with no identity 😵💫

And the players don’t seem to know what’s required of them* and the results are meh. We need some identity and a way of playing, not just confusion and this lack of clarity.

I’m more hoping (against all reasonable expectations) that he picks a team that is exciting and attack first and not one that is boring and defence first 😀

An awful lot of what he says is just totally disingenuous eg This whole we’re going to be brave, super aggressive etc etc and then the exact opposite happens.
I’m sure he’s a nice guy but he’s either way out of his depth or his approach to football is the antithesis of Spurs 🤷♂️
