Certainly worth a watch.

Whilst it talks about Dutton’s proudest moment of buying his first property at the age 19, it is indicative of the problems facing our youth generations.

How world those figures stack up today.

Could he do it on his salary today as a 19 year old.

The entire American AI industry is predicated on a narrative of relentless expansion—it needs more data, more compute, more investment, more state support, more power. It needs all that, to build AGI.

A single Chinese startup has undermined all of that.

The Great Undermining of the American AI industry
How a Chinese app built by a hedge fund has upended not just Silicon Valley, but an economy increasingly tethered to a story about AI

This evil hack motherfucker…

1. The ‘community’ didn’t ask for it
2. You don’t care about making people stressed
3. You helped usher in this ‘new era’
4. For fuck’s sake
More from Zuck: "We're bringing back civic content. For a while the community asked to see less politics because it was making people stressed, so we stopped recommending these posts. But it feels like we're in a new era now..."

Another year of #spotifywrapped, where it’s acceptable to brag about how much you love the artists you’re not paying to support.

‘Muted words’ on @bsky.app works so well. I’ve literally not thought about Leon or Clownface von Fuckstick for like two weeks, but I’m still following everyone I’m interested in.

#Bluesky feature request for @bsky.app.

'Show/hide self-reposts' would allow me to keeping following people who post interesting content, but who also clog up my feed with 2x or 3x reposts of said content within 24h. Kinda hate them for it, but not enough to mute them.

Hey @bsky.app, first week here, love the features.

One suggestion: I'm not sure why you're giving up like 2% of the device width for an arguably useless profile pic margin? #design
