I ended up buying a 2 lb bag of gummy worms as well as a big bag of marshmallows—which, by the way, are my other candy fixation!

I really suggest that people learn what kettling is before they go to any protest and also spend a lot of time looking at the police to see if they are mobilizing for it. You can’t always avoid being kettled but you should really try to be aware of it.
