"The days of coding by hand are over" the tagline says on the back. The days of writing prompts to generate garbage that has been trained on garbage are soon here. To keep ourselves employable we need to understand how these LLMs evolve to distinguish hallucinations from reality.

My pet side project got itself a long overdue new release. The TrueNAS CSP now supports the latest stable TrueNAS 25.04 and tracks HPE CSI Driver for #Kubernetes v3.0.0. Next, I'm going to have a look at the WebSockets API and have a peek at native NFS support. 😎 datamattsson.io/4mLa39K

Yesterday was #Kubernetes v1.34 release day! 🎊 A few snags in the upstream package repos prevented me from getting the HPE CSI Driver for Kubernetes e2e tests sooner. But here we are, not a speck of lint. 💪

Without fanfare, I stumbled over my ninth anniversary at HPE. The truth of the matter is that the journey actually started nine years ago at Nimble Storage, that HPE acquired. It's just how HR keep tabs. Long story: datamattsson.io/44UjPPG

If you ever felt insecure about applying for PM roles, here's the cure! There's now an API available to help reply to all those pesky RFE proposals where you spend most of your time as a PM. Confidently sit in back-to-back meetings knowing every reply is just a curl call away. buff.ly/oiGcZVM

SUSE Virtualization 1.5.0 bring full support for 3rd party CSI drivers. Customers are no longer locked into the HCI paradigm and may now build virtualization clusters by scaling compute, network and storage independently. HPE CSI Driver for #Kubernetes is fully certified: datamattsson.io/4jDRiEn

A bit late on the ball here but Kubernetes v1.33 that was released yesterday PASS all CSI e2e tests with HPE CSI Driver for Kubernetes v2.5.2. This is the boredom I'm here for. Deploy with confidence!

For over 25 years I've solved and debugged problems with network packet captures and Wireshark long before Wireshark became Wireshark. Run, sniff, analyze and iterate until you find the problem. The challenges we face today is that we need a MITM to actually see what is going on.

I hereby submit myself to the Darwin awards and serve as a warning to others. The ACTUAL inventory was already destroyed as I requested. I only discovered my error when the previous inventory got recreated. A fat finger for the books as the ANSIBLE_INVENTORY could might as well been pointed to prod.

Last night I thought I'd "make" something for Pi day. 🥧 I did a fresh install of Ubuntu and MicroK8s on my Pi400 with the endgame of passing the CSI e2e test suite with the HPE CSI Driver. Well, it's never as easy as you think. 🤷‍♂️ It's technically still Pi day on Hawaii, so HAPPY 3/14! #Kubernetes

Credit where credit is due. Don't overlook the small folk. I'm decommissioning a project on Digital Ocean today. I remember they had one well communicated outage a few years ago. That was apparently 4½ years ago to be exact (don't worry, this Ubuntu 14.04 droplet was not exposed to the Internet).

Kubernetes is just a fad. It will blow over. 🤷‍♂️ The channel user limit is 200,000 for the folks wondering. 💅🏻
