Interesting. I used to do film photography (not astro) but now I can‘t imagine to go through the hassle and costs anymore.

Nice shot for a test image! Orion Nebula is bright though, I tend to shoot darker targets on the few occasions when I carry my imaging rig to darker sites. But maybe you can manage more often?

Got around to processing a shot from earlier this year: Antares and surrounding nebulosity, with globular clusters M4 and NGC 6144.

Beware the Kenyan Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) though which is just as expensive as the visa was, and the website often seems not to be working ok. Also national park fees in Kenya have been increased massively recently, especially for international tourists.
