Another post about this picture said it was Tommy Wiseau. I found that to be a logical, entirely consistent and, surprisingly for the regime, honest nomination. But the fact that it's actually the Kiss guy is deeply disappointing to me in both ways.

They clearly understand the problem that, as things stand at present, many members of football teams are unable to enter the United States. The damage is obvious. The prize is intended to avert this. Whether it will ultimately be able to do so remains to be seen.

Schande! Im doppelten Sinne. Wenn der Preis wenigstens an einen Künstler gegangen wäre… Essig anstelle Wasser, Panoptikumskunst anstelle wirklicher Kunst. Stumpfer finsterer Zynismus, gemacht um innerlich taube Menschen verachtend anzuschreien.
