I don't know yet. The language is too academic; the narrative is, of course, engaging

I finished reading all three books in THE MAZE RUNNER trilogy in less than a week. It was unputtable down. I might try to watch all movies one day

I'm moving fast forward. I'll have to make a break in reading on Thursday because I'm going away for my studies and the book is too heavy to carry around. Maybe, I'll start some nonfiction

I finished the book. 4 stars coz of the slow start. Review to follow! If you read 'Mortal Instruments,' by Cassandra Clare, then you can feel the same vibe in 'In Scentia'

I'm reading Faulkner right now. He has the views of his era on African Americans, who are often compared to animals. He also talks in length about their nature. Surprisingly, he gives much credit to women, praising them as the silent heroes behind men making history

Highly disappointed by the ending. It was pure coincidence, not a deep investigative work. The first and only crime (within the novel) was at 70% of the book!

So many familiar names yet I remember almost nothing extraordinary, except for 'Jane Eyre.' I loved that story as an affectionate teenager. I spent hours translating its long sentences from English into my native Russian because I thought I could do better than professional translators 🙃
