I'm a veteran, too. We weren't put in a position where we were given illegal orders. Imagine how confusing this is, especially for the younger troops. Even if they get it wrong, their freedom, families, and even their lives are at risk. The bulk of the fault lies with Trump, not the troops.

It's easy to judge these Troops or just scream "Refuse illegal orders," but I have served in active duty and as NG. A lot of confusion surrounds these troops. It can be difficult for the younger troops to discern which orders to follow, and they put their families at risk by refusing. Show empathy

It didn't take Trump personally affecting me in order for me to resist him. I already wasn't going to vote for him, but the Access Hollywood tape and his treatment of the reporter was all it took to spur me into action. He has since affected me, but I was already working against him by then!!

We need to work just as hard to vote out corporate Democrats as we are MAGA Republicans. One is just as toxic to our democracy as the other. They are both cancers. Jefferies and Schumer are nearly as dangerous as Johnson and Thune. If they take big money donations, don't vote for them, simple!

Democrats need to be careful about how clear they make those intentions until after midterms, so that they don't give Trump a bigger excuse to meddle in or cancel the midterms. They can hint at it, but we all know how desperate Donn gets when he feels cornered!

I'm dying of glioblastoma. On the few days that I am strong enough to do things, I spend time with my son, daughter, granddaughter, sisters, and/or grandmother. I don't have the strength to do much more. There is a lot about our system I don't agree with, but you and I would likely agree less.

I thought that they had plans to come to my country to do us harm. It's not the first time we have had to go to other countries to defend ours. Look, if your goal is to make me feel bad about it or regret my part in it, I already do. I only have a few months left. Let me go in peace, please.

We actually thought that we were defending our country from those who meant to do us harm. We common soldiers thought we were defending our country. We didn't know we were being deceived by our leaders, but we were the ones who paid the price while the guilty flourished.

MAGA may be over, but some other racist, ignorant, conspiracy-theory believing group of morons will eventually rise from their ashes. The fight against hatred is a long-term fight that began before the founding of our country and is unlikely to end in our lifetimes.

My biggest regret about being a terminally ill veteran with no income or transportation is that I can't go to the protests and fight for my kids and granddaughter to have a better life. I have always fought, and I am not dealing well with being unable to fight when it's this important.

We vets were in those positions, and we didn't betray our oath. You couldn't have melted us down and poured us into many of the situations that Trump wants to put the military in! It's my sincere hope that they are steadfast in their devotion to constitution over president!

It will never happen unless more than 50% of 35-55 year olds get serious chronic illnesses that they can't afford to treat. There aren't enough Americans who care enough about the suffering of others to make real change necessary 💔

They haven't done shit. The little clause that says that they don't have to release the names of people who are being "investigated" gave them the out that they needed.

This little girl is going to change the world some day. We should be so proud of her and so ashamed of ourselves that children are having to shoulder these burdens because we didn't fight hard enough for them to be safe and live better than we did. Shame on us all!!!
