Well they are related just not how the author wants them to be. There’s a far more interesting narrative that isn’t pushed about how data centers interact with broken water systems and leveraging that to get tech companies to fund fixing pollution caused by other industries.

I usually let it slide but this is where it bothers me most. Cause I get distracted trying to prove to myself whether X is or is not reasonably a manifold.

3. Take the “ed” seriously. Hire and evaluate faculty primarily for teaching.
4. Lots of diverse research institutes for those who prefer to have a research only career.

1. Empower faculty/student senates with actual veto power over admin
2. Faculty run labs but all funding goes directly to people (salary+travel+disc.). Labs get funding by pitching projects directly to potential employees. Like UBI++.

Typst was honestly faster to learn up to my Latex proficiency. I think it’s cause there’s a clear programming model vs. latex packages are a mix of everything. It makes it so the intuitive thing is the correct thing.

Also: lilaq.org. Typst knowing about other file types is amazing.
