Even with treatment: the last 25 years have been a fucking joy 🙄
The meds cause almost as many side effects as the symptoms, and I've had a terrible memory since being so jaundice they suspect it might have caused some minor damage. Thats fine. FINE.

Happy 25 year anniversary to me of being diagnosed with autoimmune hepatitis. Not doing too bad considering I was told I would be dead by christmas without treatment or if it didn't work 👀 Not traumatic, at all!

Fit check. I'm now down to a size 16! Woo hoo! 18 if I still want some boob space but thats always been the case.

Got a new mattress today and its lovely and firm.
But I wasn't expecting to lie awake having so many feelings about no longer sleeping on the same mattress I shared with Doris the entire time I had her.
Its comfy.
But its not Doris memories and still having a little bit of her smell comfy 😭

What a beautiful spring equinox!
So far I've spent it sorting out money stuff and pressing flowers and petals from the flowers we got for Doris. Starting to think about finding a more permanent home for her 🙂

Duckie is holding a 24/7 vigil for our Doris, making sure she's never alone.
I've only had three cries tonight. Not an absolute break down.
It's hard to explain the feeling, but it feels better having her home again.
Nights are hard though. I miss her.

I will post more when I can, but I've made up a little shrine for Doris for a couple of days until I put her where I'm going to keep her. Just for her to settle back in to home. That sounds daft, doesn't it, but you know what I mean. I'm going to have a little cry now.
