Or maybe I'll let them all survive and torture them in other ways? Humans have become creatures of comfort, so when they lose that familiarity, some will do anything to get that back. Even if it means turning their backs on family or those they considered family.

Do my survivors fall into that category? Well it all depends. Do I want to keep them all together, or have one or two die off? Not everyone is going to survive through this story, and if you've followed me for a while, you know how much I love to kill off my characters. 🫣

I may have to spend the first week reading over what I already have, since it's been so long. Especially as there are new plot points I want to include. I don't think I'll get the same new word total as I did with Cashe, but I'm still moving forward with this WIP.

I've had about a dozen scene ideas come to me over the last couple months, and I've recorded them on my phone. I think the first thing I need to do is write them down, and then figure out if I can use them. I don't think I'll be able to use all of them, but we'll see.

Working on it again after so many months, has let me read it with fresh eyes, and while I'm not trying to edit things, I have found a word here and there that needed to be changed.

I'm slowly getting back into blogging again as well. I've got a few new ones up, and I'm trying to keep the content there different from the content I post on TikTok. It's more work, but I like posting videos.

People posting a video of them not saying anything or doing anything, but with 'trending' music overlay. I'm sorry, those videos are boring, and I scroll right on past.
