It's a Google search for Trillium, and the first result is for the plant known as 'Birthroots'. Fuck off. I've known a lot of pretty talented chefs and a lot of them were a bit to somewhat challenged when it came to non-cooking related stuff, words, things of this nature. But. Even then most of them would have understood that this was a bit too on the nose, a bit too 'Orfentic' posturing to take seriously.

[The clue was 'Strict carnivore tucking right into a piece of seafood (5,5)] Wulgus, an angel of reason responds- 'I think there's some differentiation made between obligate and non-obligate carnivores based on whether their diets are 100% meat based' Rogissimo adds 'No, chrise, but you might say "I can rule out the ones that aren't"' Followed immediately by- 'I mean it narrows down the field. I can't see anything that's wrong with it' Chrise throws down the gauntlet- 'Hi rogissimo- I'm not saying there's anything *wrong* with the it, just that the clue works perfectly well without 'strict'.'

I bought ear medicine that you're only allowed to use if your ears are in perfect health
A huge list of reasons not to use the ear medicine including 'have a history of ear problems', 'if your eardrum is or has been damaged', 'if there is anything else wrong with your ear - such as pain, swelling, discharge, infection or tinnitus', and 'if you have tried to remove ear wax with fingernails, cotton buds or any other implement'. The showrunner for the handmaid's tale talked a big game about an envisioned 10 seasons, but obvs v different from a studio marketing it as such. Also the main reason I ditched it: I didn't want to spend a decade of my life watching women being tortured

Me and my mate Lamoutain (non-sexual, Navy) used to climb the brow to board the ship after liberty in the Med and drunkenly sang this song in unison. The Officer of the Deck (Chief Rhodes) thought we were insane or really drunk -- which we were (the latter, mostly). Memories [8 thumbs up from other youtubers]

This is it imo. So far the right wing press have been reeling between flirting with Farage, putting up a rearguard action for the Tories (but not Sunak) and laying the groundwork for future attacks on Labour. Closer to election day I'm sure they will have a more decisive take
