That's pretty much why my interest in the Rock Hall has dwindled to near zero. There are obviously some good voters, but the VC is too big and watered down with people who aren't knowledgable enough to be doing it. Every great ballot gets dumbed down to the most bland, spoonfed final class possible.

I don't do predictions anymore. I'm more interested in waiting to see what the side committees do because it's always more interesting than what the VC does.

I actually really love nominees like this, an out of the blue international act that gives me someone to learn more about.

I'm not familiar with him either. He sounds worth checking out, though.

Can't argue with that list. At this point they'd have to be a side door induction, but I think that's become more presifious than getting in via the current incarnation of the voting committee.
