Experimenting with UI for the new "Scenarios" feature. Want to step away from the basic chat layout and make it a bit more game-like. I think I like how it looks so far (still WIP) but would love to hear opinions 🥹

The day has come: unless Playstore flips out on me again 🤞🏽, Android users will finally be able to enjoy all of the new features of NativePal 🤪 50+ languages, custom pals, notifications, suggestions and audio messages (with “bug fixes & performance improvements” ofc 😁)

Sending audio messages from pals to AppStore review tomorrow 🤩 Added an option to speed it up if you want level hard or slow down to make sure you get everything 🥰

Can this like stop 😂 I understand that Duolingo is sensational in their marketing approach, but this is too much 😂 And I’ve just started screenshoting them YESTERDAY because I was fed up, in reality I’ve seen too many “like Duolingo, but…” ads, it’s crazy 🤪

I use GPT models for the whole app, but for this feature experimented with Gemini on the client side (Firebase Vertex AI for Flutter is an amazing plug & play solution). But it keeps ignoring the prompt and often inserts English placeholders 🥲

Initially, NativePal was intended for intermediate language learners, but analytics and actual feedback show that most learners select the beginner level, and it's hard to start chatting right away. So working on showing suggestions that should help break the ice ☺️
