That said, I hope the game will get a more nuanced label than “new Jon Blow game”. While the creative vision is his, he didn’t make any of the original games and there are a lot of talented people at Thekla who also deserve credit.

Look, much like everyone else I'll have some very nice things to say about Clair Obscur very soon but I do think Sandfall has been a *little* insincere with their messaging at times with things like budget, number of devs, and the "indie game" positioning.

Damn, I hadn't heard about this until now. He was so great as Qwark, so many of the series' best moments would be nothing without his brilliant delivery.
