East Lake St has a couple of great bakeries. The multiseed sourdough bread loaf launebread.com is sublime. Toast it and slather butter on it. The crumb structure is excellent, serving as a perfect vehicle for butter, but bringing the earthy, slightly sour flavor mixed with anise, rye and crunch.

A few days in and the Krispy Kreme in Fridley was really struggling yesterday morning. I made a pilgrimage to get four dozen and spread them around to make people happy. I pre-ordered. I then stood in line for 30 minutes and when I got to the checkout, I waited longer to get the donuts. No prob

Krispy Kreme in Fridley decided to import the "Lines of Longfellow" to the suburbs. Just drove by to see the "culture" and compare to my neighborhood bakery lines (no photo shown since these are so well documented already).
The line of humans waiting to gain entry to a Krispy Kreme donut shop--a very large shop. Here, they make donuts at scale and glaze them on a conveyor belt. The only donut I recommend you order is the raised glazed. Get two dozen and make yourself sick so you'll never want to eat them again.

I made apple hand pies and aurora borealised them. They were delectable and are all gone. Highly recommended.

Here is Elizabeth Schaffer‘s greatest claim to productivity as a park board commissioner. Several bushes were removed so that sight lines are slightly better. I took these pictures last week, but she posted a similar one on Facebook several months ago.

Boulder, CO has them and during the 48 hours I was there it seemed like folks didn't run reds. Note this map doesn't show all areas that are subject to photo enforcement. And, the red-light cameras also do speeding tickets, even if the light is green. I cannot find their speed threshold online.
