What's to disagree with? The man not only attempted to ruin a generation of Black families in the 90s, he also continued the Obama-era policy of unethical drone strikes and arms profiteering from genocidal regimes.

The man is as racist and imperialist as any other to hold the reins of the modern US

OK, wokey

Let's go! Starting it up now!

Blessings and stay safe.

Way to just run a circle of my own points before talking yourself into a wall. Nailed it.
December 5, 2025 at 7:55 PM
When you have a long thread sounding like a warhawk who only cares if people are murdered for empire "legally," sarcasm tends to go unnoticed, yes.
December 5, 2025 at 7:55 PM
That was literally my entire point.

The ICC doesn't have to exist in its current iteration to bring US war crimes to justice. A league of countries similarly motivated will do what is necessary. As they have before.

Snideness aside, I should have said: if interested, their is a thread on this exact topic 2 posts removed from this one where I go into a little more detail on why this act is nonsensical.

I have seen it, and I would refer you to my earlier posts on the matter.

This legislation is paper tiger dressing, a farcical reminder of how far US soft power has fallen. If all we have is missiles and tanks, our influence on this matter is all but gone.

Deadass. Block them and move on. Mine isn't too bad now.
December 5, 2025 at 3:44 PM
Indeed. Liberal exceptionalism at its finest.

If only we had the same smoke for Netanyahu as Hussein or Gaddafi when it came to "stepping out of line."

Your lack of faith is built entirely on a premise that only the US can punish the US. History tells us otherwise.

Nobody was going to try the Nazis or South Africa or Serbia until they did.

Why do those pointless warrants now divert war criminal planes away from Spanish airspace? No effect indeed
December 5, 2025 at 1:29 PM
No, I never said that. I'm saying that the course the US is on virtually guarantees alienation from the rest of the 192 signatories of the Geneva Conventions.

We do not solely fund the Hague, nor is it wholly dependent on our largesse. What happens when sanctions don't work (e.g Israel)?
December 5, 2025 at 7:42 AM
Then, deal with the reality that US soft power is spent and the age of American exceptionalism and unipolarity have come to an end.

Nothing happens until it does. One day soon, US wat criminals will face justice on the international stage like everyone else.
December 5, 2025 at 7:18 AM
If nobody thought it would be executed, what is the point? And protecting servicemembers from what exactly?

And no, the original point is that the US has no power if the Hague actually arrests one of our own bespoke war criminals. That should be clear based on your own first reply.
December 5, 2025 at 6:59 AM
So... my original point stands? It's a bluff and a stupid one to boot.
December 5, 2025 at 6:35 AM
Liberals can't help but see only the ends of their bloodthirst. The means are always so mysterious, the consequences always so "unintended."

Imagine US tanks and helicopters assaulting across Germany and France because we want to save a literal international war criminal.

Unsurvivable and idiotic
