The character issues go way beyond betting. Allegations of relations with a minor. Roomed with a steroids dealer. The guy was 100% trash.

I think that's right. Plus, Detroit can always wait until August and get the same return if their playoff outlook looks dim.

I think there's room to believe the Willams deal is a better one, but he walks more batters then Diaz. Not sure he's any better for your heart.

Most reporters are talented people who are good writers and have analytical skills...but there's a reason they went into journalism and not finance. Percentage change and percentage points are routinely jumbled in stories I read, for example.
