I like to think he just couldnt bear leaving the Sounders faithful 😂

As someone who supports healthcare for all, trans rights, and a limit to the wealth a single person can accumulate, I don't ever see myself voting for Gavin Newsom. But I am having fun watching the first class troll job.

And for the love of god, we know there aren't gonna be any big signings this year, next year, or for the foreseeable future. Our next DP is already on the roster, the money from this year's tournaments is missing, and the chance to make some money with Obed has been squandered.
December 17, 2025 at 2:33 AM
It's a fine signing. I do feel some kind of way about this owner and the trajectory of the roster. We are the fifth best roster now and in 2-3 years, with our strategy, will be the 8th best roster and the only Sounders news source will still be dropping articles calling fans stupid.

It has to do with the way the front office cooks...with the cheapest ingredients they can find.
December 17, 2025 at 12:23 AM
I'm talking about the club taking a victory lap after bringing a 500 min player to backup our young CM they can't move, asking if they are aware of the fan perception, and answered my question using CW's latest press conference where he came off as out of touch and combative as an example.
December 17, 2025 at 12:20 AM
Lot of fanfare from the club. Is the front office and PR department aware of the gap between the way the FO operates and fan aspirations? I think they are and I think that is why CW is always so damn whiny in front of the camera.
December 17, 2025 at 12:14 AM
Him being so talented is the problem. He doesn't want to be a Sounder but he won't let us move him either.
December 16, 2025 at 2:44 AM
Let's be honest the most likely outcome is he walks on a free and the front office takes a victory lap for their "genius". CW has already laid the ground work. Can't buy top players....can't sell top players.

Spot on. I would follow up with: Obama's pivot to the center followed by Hillary being chosen by the DNC (who is to the right of Obama) did a lot to stymie the young progressive energy that propelled Obama to the Whitehouse. Also, the DNC choosing Biden further set back the energy of the Dem party.

There wouldnt be a need to fix the ACA if we had healthcare instead of insurance regulations. Half measures are the Hallmark of the Dems and why they are so unpopular
December 13, 2025 at 9:42 PM
I really feel like if there were smoking gun incriminating photos it would have come out a long time ago.
December 13, 2025 at 7:16 PM
How confident are you that when a Dem wins the white house they will do that? I'm assuming the need for this post means there is some doubt that a Dem presidency would result in a major course correction. I know I am.

Tell that to the 20 million Americans whose insurance cost is increasing by thousands of dollars. We settled and still got nothing.
December 13, 2025 at 6:07 PM
We just had 88 Dems voted to condemn socialism as "evil". It's not just 1 Dem.
December 13, 2025 at 6:06 PM
Obama ran and delivered insurance reform not healthcare. His entire talking point was that the US requires a "unique" solution that left the capitalist healthcare structure in place.
December 13, 2025 at 5:08 PM
So your response to someone saying the Dems only provide half measures and the citizens of this country would be better off with single payer healthcare, something that Dems have continuously blocked, is to post a meme saying Republicans are cry babies?
December 13, 2025 at 5:07 PM
Those imperfections have stood in the way of healthcare for all, student loan forgiveness, environmental protections, and caves on healthcare during the last shutdown. Why is it always the progressives who have to get along with the conservative Dems. Why don't we demand more from our party?
December 13, 2025 at 12:51 AM
Where is that energy when a progressive wins? The speaker of the house wouldn't even publicly endorse the Dem candidate for his state's largest city. Is it too much to ask for representatives who...you know, represent us?
December 13, 2025 at 12:49 AM
Hey my republican loving rep @marilynstrickland.bsky.social is on that list. But she did have the courage to vote with all the Republicans to condemn such horrors such as public schools, public roads, firefighters and other public servants.
December 13, 2025 at 12:47 AM
There has to be some unifying identity. Y'all centralist are all about blue no matter who and then throwing a fit when a progressive wins. My rep @marilynstrickland.bsky.social voted to condemn public goods as evil. Is it too much to ask for representatives that represent us?
December 13, 2025 at 12:46 AM
There has to be some sort of unifying identity. Constantly caving to the GOP ain't it. Hell Indiana Republicans have shown more backbone than the rank and file house Dems. My rep @marilynstrickland.bsky.social is on the record voting to call public goods evil while refusing to stand up to trump.
December 13, 2025 at 12:41 AM
Can y'all help us in Wa congressional district 10 primary @marilynstrickland.bsky.social she recently voted with the Republicans to call public goods evil while continuously refusing to stand up to the Trump admin?
December 13, 2025 at 12:39 AM
Oh him being president infuriates the racist and probably helped fuel Trump's dominance of the political landscape. I just wish that he had actually been the "evil socialist" they claimed he was 😂.
