When I was at UCLA 25 years ago I helped edit a lot of papers for friends. Even the worst I experienced was nowhere near this. I would be embarrassed to have this published as part of a propaganda effort.

One thing that Dems didn't really do was delegitimize the entire thing as opposed to treating it like a good faith effort that was doing it wrong (why isn't DOGE looking at the Pentagon etc)
