While @bikehfxlobby.bsky.social is away I’m trying to do a little bit every day to make things nicer for her return. Finally getting this dirty skillet in the dishwasher. She’ll be so surprised!

Is this “dismount and walk” sign permanent? What are we doing?

Related, this was the "no parking" side of the Seymour local street "bike"way earlier, typical Saturday. I am not sure anymore how many times I've reported this. Terrible design.

Update now that summer is over: there was noticeable congestion on Morris when I took new photos this morning!
But it was on the sidewalks and in the ped crossings.

Beautiful ride on the Shearwater Flyer and Salt Marsh trails today. We saw so many birds!
We took an ussie on the same bridge where we took one Sep 29 last year. Interesting to compare the colours.

I have this reminder which seems to fit with your timeline for that part anyway!

Good time playing last night!

Thanks for this pic and for being my roadie, @bikehfxlobby.bsky.social 😘

Maybe we will get even more!!! They went ahead and just paved all this.
And maybe a new curb cut there too!

Highly recommend visiting Lebanese Fest by bike!
Parking enforcement were giving someone a ticket for blocking a hydrant as I was leaving.

Terrible mayor works here. Critical Mass at 6:30 if possible.

Thanks @envirojen.bsky.social for the bike bus over! I was the caboose.
On our way out of the park one person we passed thought we were a parade. Nope, just 9 people going places.

I’ve had my “bike good mayor bad” sign on my bike for three weeks now, since Critical Mass. (except for a few trips with my bass or to the bike shop)

I’ve had zero negative interactions! Which has been a little surprising. But here are some of the direct positive ones I’ve had:

Mobility by trike? Houston don’t like!

Good day for a London Fog sundae from Dairy Bar and a roll and stroll through the Public Gardens

Did a one hour bass chat with Adina Fraser Marsman at Ekko in Dartmouth today. Like to see new music orgs!

Rides across the bridge without the noise and stress of cars is always a treat.

Bummer the area near King’s Wharf was redone with no improvements. And they removed the desire line. It’ll be back, but such a waste.

So glad I made it to @coffeeoutside.hfx.bike this morning! Great new spot.

I maybe saw you! I stopped to take a pic of these transitions because I think they’re actually pretty good. Wish the Bayers Rd ones and others were this smooth.

Morris has been reduced to one lane for water work. I assume the port has shut down and ambulances are refusing to even try answering calls in the area.

Doesn’t seem to be any more officially open but it is more usable than it’s been. But still work going on at Richmond Yards for sure so might be hit or miss. Also got this pic of poor drainage this morning.

Our beloved jazz director hosted a jam at The Local a couple weekends ago. Ralph Saulnier got some great photos including some of me playing with folks!

I like to play music.
