I once talked with a log named Lincoln, whose hopes wouldn't cease. I wanted structure & it wanted peace. It all felt like a terrible disease but as John Wilkes Booth said , please act accordingly, sweet release is nearer than you think & afFORDable.
The Browns hired Todd Monken, a well respected coach with a reputation for an offensive mind on that side of the field. I personally wanted a younger coach in the vein of someone up & coming but understand them hiring Monken. Hell, I didn't want Atkinson & he's been a great hire for the Cavs. #NFL

I never like taking a dump on my country but America is a damn mess right now. ICE is killing people left and right and the last person was a government worker just like my brother. Sometimes MAGA fools just exhaust me. Someone posted something today about Pete Townsend saying Bruce Springsteen should just focus on making concerts enjoyable vs political. Do you know Bruce?! He is a Woody Guthrie enthusiast & Woody has a guitar that said "this machine kills fascists". C'mon guys

There used to be Juke Box etiquette back in the day but I can tell you the same doesn't exist on Touchtunes. I went to a local pub & wanted to play a batch of tunes for my lady. I let the fellows tunes play down and then added some songs. He then proceeded to jump everything I played. Very uncool.

America these days is really hard to love. Even when bad things happen, we are divided. Someone needlessly died where they should not have. Senseless death is never a positive thing & that SHOULD be the focal point.

Sometimes it can be difficult separating the art from the artist. I have always appreciated Jerry Lewis as a talent & have mostly enjoyed his movies. I also know Jerry at times wasn't the best of humans which can impact how I view his work. The Delicate Deliquent was fun & made me laugh.I'll take it

There were two artists who "evolved" which never quite landed with me. One was Bjork & the other was Radiohead. For both of these artists, I loved their earlier work & still to this day listen to them. As they updated their sound, making it less accessible, I dropped off.That's how it goes sometimes

I have never been a huge fan of the Eagles but the song Hotel California is different. Why you ask? My German mother once quoted it & it was the part about using heroin. She never quotes anything music wise & she hit me with that one. Well done Mom! Joe Walsh's guitar work is also great on it.

I am absolutely not used to drinking the way I used to back just 1 year ago. I brought a slew of beers but they didn't hit like they used to back in the day. Those epic times of mass glugging may be done!

The Ohio non -winter coldness has already made my hands bleed. Pretty sure by the time ACTUAL Winter is over, I will have hook hands because mine will have cracked into pieces.

If baby toes could scream my right foot might exclaim "what in dear heavens have you done you damnable fool!!!!??". About a month ago I somehow randomly kicked a doorframe & the wee fellow has been slow to heal. Add in Ohio frigidness & the slow-roll of healing goes slower. I call it babytoe no no.
