I usually watch The Last Waltz on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving but I’m watching it tonight this year because I’m playing some pub trivia tomorrow. Levon Helm, Neil Young and many others hit a level of cool incomprehensible to more recent generations. Joni Mitchell is meh. Happy Turkey-weekend.

I happened to be at that intersection walking my kids to school at the exact time that video was posted and recorded a video of my own. No yield sign. No flashing lights. No crossing guard. Just an endless parade of maniacs in huge vehicles unaware that you’re supposed to yield to pedestrians.

Is this, like, fraudulent? This morning the City of Wauwatosa published this video claiming that there’s currently a yield sign with flashing lights at the corner of Wauwatosa Ave and Wright St.
