Scouser emigrated to W. Lancashire, piano player, can't dance, so don't ask me, grandad to four wonderful people, dad to two lovely daughters, parkrun fan, never let the Tories near the levers of power ever again, used to be a lifelong Labour supporter 🌹
Any answers, one of the best shows on Radio 4 - this little snippet is pure gold, I was expecting the lovely Derek to end his call with "love to the family".

Chris Philp: Labour is too weak to leave the ECHR.

Whereas his party is chomping at the bit to line up with Russia and Belarus.

Chris, who famously questioned on #BBCQT whether Rwanda and the DRC are one and the same country, is a loyal Tory, but not the sharpest tool in the box.

Bullseye 🎯
Thoughts & prayers...

To be fair to Reform Ltd, their man, Zia Yusuf, on Politics Live yesterday, says it's wrong to speculate about the background of the attacker.

Two minutes later he was talking about people who shouldn't be in the country.

Racist thugs pretending to be moderate.

Shame on Laura Kuennsberg and the BBC in general. They almost never give airtime to Reform Ltd - the British people deserve better 🇬🇧 🇬🇧 🇬🇧

This morning, presumably as a token gesture, they gave a brief interview to Zia Yusuf who was forced to 'manspread' to grab some much needed attention.

Matt Goodwin. Reform supporter and all round plonker. #BBCQT always keeps a seat warm for these foaming at the mouth good for nothings.

There was no topic debated that he didn't attribute to mass immigration. What a seriously unpleasant man.

It's like Nintendo we're able to see into the future back in the 80s 😹

A message to Wes Streeting. You are never going to win over political opinion by saying you have a "bold and values driven agenda". It just reinforces the opinion that all politicians are the same, which does a great disservice to our democracy.

Cheers, Wes 👍

Chris Philp gently excuses Sarah Pochin with "the British people have legitimate concerns" about mass migration.

Kuennsberg, as lazy as ever, fails to call out the difference between the migration debate and simple racism.
October 26, 2025 at 10:11 AM
Chris Philp refusing to call out Sarah Pochin's racist comments - she was seemingly fed up with seeing only black people on TV.

Kuennsberg should have persevered, and could have used the helpful analogy, if it waddles like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's a fucking duck.

He'd give anyone a run for their money wouldn't he?
Also, the bravest king we've ever had… Just look at all of his medals 👏👏👏

2014 eh? You're just showing off.

If your PCs can't support AI, maybe just use legacy Microsoft Paperclip Technology

Not the lottery win, but quite possibly the best notification I've had in a very long time.

No mention of limits so I'll leave the car at home 🤔

Hoping there will be an appropriate welcome for the 47th president of the US on his state visit.
September 16, 2025 at 8:17 AM
Will this allow our government, and the BBC for that matter, to start calling it what it is?

Another reason to dislike flag shagging far right knuckle draggers. This one flatly refused to give us back our beach ball 😡

Labour has gone back on promises to do the right thing for nuclear test veterans. They have failed to put any money aside for compensation & also steadfastly refusing to hand over medical data to veterans & their families.

Demonstrating once again, the new boss is no better than the old boss.

That can't be right, he's a deeply religious individual.

Anthony Hopkins in the 1978 movie 'Magic'.

What a performance!

If you employ an accountant or a lawyer, you listen to their advice and then make your own decision. You carry the can for whatever you go on to do. Just like Angela Rayner.

When the political advisor ends up calling the shots, it's the tail wagging the dog.

I agree, though some people seem unsackable.
