In the UK, we have a long and illustrious tradition of visiting the town of Grantham to pay our respects to Evil Edna, the milk snatcher, Maggie the Friedman Thatch, the source of many woes. May she rest uncomfortably.

Here’s a pic we have on my parents sitting room wall: Nat second on the left and standing next to him is his girlfriend, Ramona, a Spanish woman he met in Barcelona, and who returned to the UK with him after the war.
He’d have got on well with your wonderful Uncle Morrie.
Best wishes, comrade.

Here’s a pic of my grandparents at the Battle of Cable Street in London, 1936. My great uncle Nat Cohen was one of the first British volunteers to fight Fascism in the Spanish Civil War. I feel rather lame in comparison, but will hold their examples and memory dear. It’s our turn. No Pasaran!

My grandparents Louis Carrier and Rachel Cohen, at the Battle of Cable Street, 1936. Taken from a Pathe newsreel - a lovely find for my family.
No Pasaran then, and No Pasaran today and forever more!

For the Lutheran pastor who kindly, I suppose, just DM’d me something about the Lord will bless me with my hearts desire or something - I’d DM this back to you but can’t work out how to attach it to a message! 😂
Apologies for my rather rude and curt reply earlier, Rev. Peace and love.

Squizz chose the sunflower seeds. Pidge, what either it’s beak could randomly hit.
Squizz doesn’t agree with hedgehog holes in fences, Pidge forgot the question as soon as it was asked. Pidge says London parakeets are noisy. Squizz likes their plumage
They both agreed urban foxes are underrated.

Say hello to a distressed looking Seneca (which is weird because he was good at dealing with the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune).

I love my job! Got to go backstage for Cirque del Soliel rehearsals at the Albert Hall. A little bit of faith restored in the awesomeness of humanity.

Scratched in to the terracotta brick work of Highgate Library.
Bet Ros is still a Mod, they never grow out of it, so they?
The building was paid for by Carnegie in 1906. The library has just been retrofitted to become carbon neutral - thankfully the builders didn’t do stuff to the brick fronts…
