I think if the players body goes outside the pylon he doesn’t get the goal line extended…if I understood their rules guy correctly

I believe that if any part of the ball carrier’s body crosses the goal line in bounds, the ball can cross the goal line outside the sideline and it’s still a TD. I think that’s the “goal line extended” they were talking about

1995 reg season was 9-3…the opening win vs UVa was in the Pigskin Classic where teams got an extra game for playing in it.
