Policy is pointless unless it can be enacted. And still nobody has explained how it would be enacted, and by who.

Then who is ICE presenting a judicial warrant to? Who is stopping them from doing anything before they present that warrant?

HD, at least in my area, doesn’t own their parking lots. They’re owned by whatever company owns the mall they’re in. So you’re asking underpaid retail employees to confront ICE on property that the corporation they work for doesn’t even own.

Ok, so we want to require underpaid retail employees, as part of their job, to stop and confront ICE if they come into their stores. Cool cool cool.

I’m genuinely confused about what, specifically, folks want HD to do. And “protect people from ICE” isn’t specific. Or is it just assumed that HD is lying about cooperating with them?

Yeah, that’s DC. Every time someone visits from out of town and comments how friendly everyone is here, I assume they live somewhere that people just punch each other in the face if they talk to you.

Plenty of people with high IQs enter the military because they can’t afford the thousands of dollars per year to go to college. And plenty of people who can afford college enter military service because they want to serve their country. They don’t deserve you insulting them.
