My favorite conspiracy is that Elon Musk bribed Pitchfork to put the Grimes song Oblivion at the top of their best songs of the decade so far list. That IS a good song but they were dating at the time and we see what Musk is willing to do to self-aggrandize. I will die believing this to be true.

Could you explain this graph? Things look to be following a trend? To say sales are down relative to March 2021 is disingenuous because you are benchmarking against COVID “revenge” retail when the vaccines started to be rolled out

When people go out like this - on their own terms, when their cognition is still sharp - they come off as heroes taking a victory lap after a lifetime in service. Compare to Diane Fienstein, being wheeled around, barely able to speak. I know how I would prefer my career to end.

We could have a free and fair election (primary?) to elect which democrats will be sacrificed to Donald’s bloodlust. The right candidates will thread the need between the electorate’s enthusiasm for populist fiscal solutions and a staunch preference for cultural conservatism.

There is nothing in this piece about the boycotts. I have been to Target less than 5 times since late January. Why won’t they just apologize and change the bad policies?

I wish he were smarter than this or pretend to be. What happens to this whole paramilitary apparatus that Trump has built up with ICE if/when the “Nazi” wing of the GOP gets its hands on it? To Shapiro’s credit, he is fighting back against that wing but they are rabid Antisemites.
