I really struggled to shape this one, and was definitely a “what can you save” effort - the blue turned to butter, and the stiff cane combination made it want to get weird fast.
I think I know how to make this go better next time though - and that’s what counts 😅

A year ago today I took my first “make a cup” intro class in Seattle (the blue cup), and this week I ~solo (hot shop work requires an assistant, but without like… guidance) blew the vase to the left.
Tomorrow, I’m learning to teach, and maybe? actually _teaching_ my first make a cup classes 😅

New glass! I made a decanter, and it’s the biggest piece I’ve made 😅
Holds ~1.5L in the main body which makes it perfect for cold brew season - excited to start using it 🎉

I've reached the "starting to design my own tools" part of glassblowing and I have some kind of feelings about this (mostly bad because I'm writing OpenSCAD rn).
But this is the 2nd iteration of part of some "rollers", used in flameworking to take the weight of pieces while tooling them.
