I would never discourage any one from protesting, but exercise caution. I just saw a Fox News graphic (don't ask) referring to the "No Kings Day Riots."

But please don't do anything that could be considered "rioting". We need you to be able to come back tomorrow for more peaceful protests!

Some of us are just out for a little sunshine! Hope you have a great day and I appreciate your support for vets in general. Thanks!

Thanks, Ed. I am a Vietnam vet and currently a wheelchair user. Vets come in every size, shape, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, political orientation, etc. You may have been absolutely dead right. But most were not left out on the street to fend for ourselves.

Very nice, Jason! And very Santa Fe. 🙂

Close to you or close to each other?

The slot bird looks like his nose is in the exhaust of #1. 🙂

My wife and I saw it on opening day, at the Glenwood in Kansas City. Along with Andrew and his kin. 🙂

Happy Wednesday to you as well!

Are you still doing badlands workshops? The only ones I see in the last couple years are IR...

The other is my personal .45 semi auto. ALL are locked in gun vault boxes, ALL the time.

I can just picture myself shooting from this wheelchair. <ha ha ha ha>

For only a second time shooting that was very good indeed! Were you using a range gun?

My guess, most people on this side of Bluesky who have never used a firearm would be surprised how many liberals own and, at least occasionally, shoot. I have 4 hand guns, two were Faith's before she passed away.

One of mine was my dad's carry gun when he was a police officer.

NIK 8?

I see a SIG logo on the wall. Very nice firearms they are.

Were you using that target for zeroing in the gunsights? Or is that just the target the range guys gave you to practice with?

Oh yeah, and if that was your first effort, a very good start and nice shooting!

I think it was family( daughter, maybe) who convinced him to change "the feels that you lack" to "the feelings that we lack." Made the song a little less blameful of her mother.

I surely miss Gordon, thanks for the post!

Could use some of that down here, across your southern border. 🙂

Normally I don't care for sunset shots looking directly at the sun, but this one just KILLS it. Congrats on a great photo!

Great news!

Send lawyers, guns and money,

And if you had come to Oak Park Music back in 1967, I would have taught you that walk up ("here it comes") in a $5 half hour lesson.

So up to the end, we had a few good folks making sure company associates were treated fairly and taken care of.

I suspect that is very rare, but it does happen. All based on the original ethical and benevolent plans from the founder.

In less than a year, poor decisions nearly bankrupted the company and he was fired. It took several years to play out, but bankruptcy was inevitable. We still had some good senior management and they made sure the pension plan was transferred outside to protect that from being lost.

I was fortunate to start working for the JCPenney company while Mr Penney was still alive. The company was very paternalistic and did a great job of taking care of all their workers. Mr P died, a stock trader bought a seat on the board, fired the CEO and brought in an arrogant hired gun.

It wasn't a mistake. They're indiscriminate of who they abduct, and they're looking for ways to deport anybody they don't like, regardless of citizenship status.

According to military law (as I recall it) everyone, officer or enlisted, at any level, is REQUIRED to refuse an illegal order. If our officers and senior enlisted will do that, they may incur the wrath of someone above them but WE may actually survive this regime. I'm nervous but hopeful.
