Yes. They're fairly handy, actually - anytime I need to figure out expression in various tissues, or which mutations are present in a given cell line, I whirr up an LLM.

Not a professor, but I use bucketloads of AI in my daily work. It's not hard to see a future when the argument against using AI becomes similar to "you won't always have a calculator in your pocket."
