Just got this email from the NIJ, cancelling ALL posted notices of funding. This is THE main agency for criminology/criminal justice research in the country.

Funding for research on gun violence, violence against women, improving forensic science, and hate crimes ALL removed from the site.

One of the *many* humbling things about writing a book is taking stock of the brilliance of so many others. Writing this morning with the hopes of finding something new to say that builds on what's come before.

Our research team, led by Dr. Jessica Hamilton at Rutgers, is recruiting NJ teens for an ongoing longitudinal study to learn more about social media use, mental health, and gun violence exposure.
