Who knows what the US will look like in 2027 but my god we will have pro/rel. Hope they start the USL D1 league by giving at least 50% of the spots to teams from the USLC off their finish
Now official: USL has voted to adopt promotion and relegation.
I spoke to a few team owners and USL president Paul McDonough about why the leagues decided to take this enormous step.

Why USL owners took the leap to vote for promotion and relegation
It took years of discussions, but the status quo will go and pro-rel will be implemented once USL launches its first-tier league.

Enjoyed the in-person weekend for my C license held at the Historic Crew Stadium, the location of the Crew’s academy and pro facility. Insightful stuff and we were able to catch the Crew-Dynamo match at the new downtown stadium!

Gladbach are the team 2-0 up at half-time and the message is “we’d rather win 2-1 than 3-0.” We’ve completely allowed Union back into this game (despite the questionable VAR decision)

The next generation of players are here. A U9 player today after making two really great crosses told me he learned it from his favorite player - Lamine Yamal. The Messi/Ronaldo dichotomy is slowing coming to an end.
