This ‘luxury lodge’ needs to be removed. The planet’s wildlife and ecosystems are at breaking point.

We cannot keep putting business profits above the species we share this planet with.

Please, use your moral compass wisely. Book with a business that doesn’t do shit like this.

Indeed it is, well done! That’s a wonderful shot of a conjunction

Thank you. I got really excited when I first saw the news, but then when I read the ‘strategy’ I was underwhelmed. Small steps though!

I wonder if they’ll be open to working with us as partners? I’ve no idea how to event get in touch!

Looking NNE you’ll see Gemini, joined by an extremely bright planet - the gas giant of Jupiter!

All visible to the naked eye to those of us with relatively clear and dark skies, even in the inner cities you may be able to make out Jupiter!

Happy gazing 🤩

By 9pm, the mighty hunter, Orion, will be firmly above the horizon if you look SE.

Possibly the most famous shape in the night sky with the 3 stars in his belt and the bright yellow star at his shoulder -Betelgeuse - all clearly visible to anyone with dark to moderately light polluted skies

I really feel you parents. I don’t know what’s got to give. I seriously can’t absorb another increase like this in a few months time. It’s a slow, relentless creep!

Crazy isn’t it. It’s so depressing. I really don’t know how families are managing, it’s hard enough sustaining yourself let alone having to feed growing humans.

And they wonder why my generation are thinking twice before kids. People cannot afford another mouth to feed.

To some, that’s not a lot of money. But that’s a decent weeks shop for a family, and half a weeks wage for some. That means someone potentially having to find an extra 2.5 days a week on top of a full time job just to be in the same financial position they were in just a few months ago.

A lot of very short sighted people around, sadly!

It’s crazy isn’t it? So much in the world to be angry about, and it’s Welsh people using Cymraeg that they choose to have a vendetta against
November 19, 2025 at 9:53 PM
Exactly! I wish more people could appreciate them.

Such a strange way to go about life isn’t it?

For the rest of us who want to feel that connection to a place, whether as someone who visits all the time or someone on a one off trip - let us lean into the Hanes (history), let it engulf you, and leave knowing you have truly seen that place and know it on a deeper level than when you arrived.

Without native names, in any language, we are all a lot poorer for it.

So what if it’s ’hard to remember’ or if to you, it ‘will always be the spinnies’. That’s your choice. It’s a poor one that leaves you blind to the history and sense of place, but it is your choice.
