The most interesting thing about me is my interest in legal ethics, so...
I think a Trump-Biden-Harris voter has earned redemption

Don't think even that will move the three-time losers. It could very well win back over the Trump-Biden-Trump voters

Don't think there's anybpdy else out there who can rally the racists on a national scale like Trump. They'll just crawl back into the pre-Trump woodwork

Would have preferred an acquittal and hope the district judge grants motion for judgment of acquittal but can't demonize the jury for doing what they were sworn to do: Listen to the evidence (none of us sat through the trial) and follow the court's instructions. Jury nullification can cut both ways

District judge could enter judgment of acquittal as a matter of law

Need to find somebody with Article III standing to enforce the statute. Unfortunately the effort will likely be as toothless as the Emoluments Clause litigation against Piggy in his first term and it will require a Dem administration to set things right. Just like with "Department of War"

It so deeply affected me when I saw it in the theatre (more than Mary Poppins, which was the last movie I had seen in the theatre that had deeply affected me) that I remember telling a girl I was trying to make time with how much I liked it and she reacted like I was psychotic

It’s one of the greatest movies ever made, and yet I wonder if a more seasoned Scorsese would tone that scene down

I see a car go past of the same model and color of mine, I give them a little thumb's up, sort of like we're fellow Harley riders. Nobody reciprocates

I did that two days in a row with a rental car last week. Hopped into somebody's else's cars. Nobody in the cars, though

Thanks. Probably in the article I didn't read

When was Loomer ever "a legitimate public voice"? This is entirely on brand for her.
There were calls not even to dignify Trump's vile comments with any reaction, which would be credible if the fate of the world weren't in his tiny hands. It's much to ignore Loomer

Very nice to see. How did this get past Speaker Johnson?

Profiler says white guy, 5' 8', 15-1/2 collar, 33 inch sleeves. Narrows it down

There is a narrative lapse. Cruise shows up late at his apartment drunk on Jack Daniels after a bad day in court, berates Demi Moore's character to the point that she storms out, and then drunk Hughes piles into that sweet '63 Chevy and drives after her.

Just heard Reiner relate the story on a replay of Terri Gross's Fresh Air interview from September. He was also gracious enough not to mention that Gross misstated the plot. She said Cruise's character was prosecuting Jessup

A little context: In '24, the Dem candidate won Senate District 37 by 20 points, while, as noted, Harris only won by 6 points. Apples to apples, this is a 27.5 point pickup. In a KY race, can't compare a white male KY native to a Black female Californian

What’s she up to?

Treasury Secretary sharing his “suspicion” about what the economic future may bring. Very comforting

The Horst Wessel thing fizzled quickly. Only reason CK is being mentioned now is to compare and contrast him with two inherently kind murder victims. Kirk will fade back into obscurity by the end of the week

Sometimes, somebody else does the rough drafts and he adds embellishments, but this one was Piggy all the way
