Not too sure about that Alan, I would like to think that Ruben sees him as a highly talented youngster who needs the time to mature and develop.
When we have needed goals or someone to come on for the last 20 or so minutes Kobbie has been turned to.

Yeah fully agree, it's going from one extreme to another with over relying on them to get us through the season to them being on the bench.
Youth Development is the backbone of this club but at the same time we do have to protect them especially in this social media age

I think he looked alright played in the 10 position, the away fixture to Galastasaray stands out when he was played there.
He could use the advice just to concentrate on his development and if he wants to make claim to a starting position to work on that.

Yeah did forget about that, the pressure was on them at the time in fairness to him and I can easily understand that being foolish actions of a young man.

I remain highly sceptical, my gut instinct says it's more likely than unlikely Kobbie did know about this stunt beforehand.

Yeah that's true, he hasn't helped his case either by thinking he could play Mainoo in one of the 10 positions to replace Mbeumo or rest Mount. Kobbie has shot himself in the foot with this one.

Yeah possibly, though I think Ruben hasn't been that thrilled with Ugarte either. Mainoo after his good showing yesterday could have made a statement that he could be trusted to be in that role next to Bruno, but very little chance now.

Exactly he is 20 years old, it's not like he's in his mid 20s or the peak of his career. Some of us said for the last 2 seasons it was unfair on the likes of Kobbie and Garnacho how much we were relying on them, that pressure has been taken off him now and he doesn't realise it.

Yeah that leans towards that being the case, and sadly Kobbie has seen that Garnacho & Rashford got their moves away so thinks he just has to act the same.

Ideally it should be none of them starting and we have 2 athletic midfielders in the middle, Casemiro in the squad would be okay, Bruno pushed further ahead in his better position, if he books his ideas up then Mainoo being allowed to mature in and out of the team, Ugarte is best being moved on.
